Remove four screws securing magnetron and
remove magnetron from oven. Note that these
are machine screws.

7.

Reverse procedure to install.

NOTE: Tighten magnetron evenly to prevent
microwave leakage.

NOTE: When installing new magnetron, be sure
metal washer is in place and completely seated to
prevent leakage.

MAGNETRON COOLING FAN

WARNING: DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL
POWER TO THE MACHINE AT THE MAIN
CIRCUIT BOX. PLACE A TAG ON THE CIRCUIT
BOX INDICATING THE CIRCUIT IS BEING
SERVICED.

1.

Remove "UPPER LAMP HOUSING AND
DUCT ASSEMBLY.”

2.

Remove two screws securing fan housing to
side panel.

3.

Disconnect motor connector.

4.

Disconnect connector for lower lamp fan motor
and work wires out of wire retainers.

5.

Work high voltage capacitor wires out of wire
retainer.

6.

Remove one screw securing fan housing to
oven cavity.
