DMM

NOTE

The mainframe can continue to be used once the DMM has been removed.

Installation Procedure

Using the guides shown in , slide the DMM into the mainframe unit until the DMM is
supported by the card guides.

Insert the connector removed in step 2 above and insert it into J6 on the input board.

Slide the DMM into the mainframe unit the front panel is flush with the front of the chassis.

Install the three screws as shown in using a #2 Phillips screw driver.

EX1200-2365 Removal

Removal Procedure

Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the jack-out screws from the DMM front panel.

These screws are designed to pull the card out of the backplane’s mating connector. It is

recommended that both screws be loosed in equal amounts to avoid tension that may occur if
one screw is completely removed before the other.

Using the jack-out screws, remove the DMM from the mainframe.
