ADVANCED OPERATIONS & FEATURES -
Group Paging - For Base Unit & Portable Handset
You can page all the Portable Handsets at the same time, as long as they are in your channel group, (see the
Channel
section under
Advanced Operations & Features
section) by:

button.
You can do this from the Base Unit or any of the Portable Handsets. All the Portable Handsets will continue to ring until
any one Portable Handset answers the call.
ADVANCED OPERATIONS & FEATURES -
ID Exchange (From Base Unit Only)
The ID Exchange feature works by having the Base Unit send a signal every 40 seconds to the Portable Handset (it is
communicating with) and the Portable Handset bounces the signal back to the Base Unit. The purpose of this feature is
for the Base Unit to know it is still in contact with the Portable Handset. If the signal the Base Unit sends out does not
bounce back, the Base Unit knows that the Portable Handset is either off or it is out of range.
Note:
The default setting if for this feature to be “Inactive”.
You can activate the ID Exchange feature by:
