Pause Time (For The Base Unit Only)
The default Pause Time is 3000ms and it should work in most locations in North America. Check with your area’s
Pause Time requirements if you need to change it.
You can change the Pause Time by:

ADVANCED OPERATIONS & FEATURES -
Energy Saving Feature – Portable Handset Only
When this feature is ON and the Portable Handset is not being used, the LCD display will turn itself off after 20 seconds
and all the buttons will be locked. The Portable Handset will become active again if there is an incoming call or if you
press the
button.
Note:
The default setting for this feature is for it to be OFF.
