The Kobold VR200 robot vacuum
is not charging
.
The base station and/or robot vacuum may not be properly connected to the power
supply.
•
Make sure that the plug is properly connected to the jack on the base station.
•
Also make sure that the mains plug is properly connected to the outlet.
If you do not charge the robot vacuum on the base station, and do not switch it off
using the menu item “Switch Robot Off” (see Section “3.6 Switching off the robot
vacuum” on page 31), it will discharge within a few weeks.
The Kobold VR200 robot vacuum
suddenly stops cleaning.
You have selected spot cleaning mode. In this mode, the robot vacuum stops after the
set area has been cleaned.
•
If you want to clean the rest of the room, select normal cleaning mode (see Section
“3.3 Selecting cleaning mode” on page 25).
The sensors may be covered or dirty.
•
Make sure that the sensors are not covered.
•
If the sensors are dirty, clean the sensors with a soft, clean cloth or cotton swab (see
Section “4.4 Cleaning the sensors” on page 41).
In large, empty rooms, navigation may be a problem if there are not furnishings or
walls within a radius of 2 – 3 metres.
On high pile carpets, the wheels of the robot vacuum may spin and lead to navigation
errors.
•
Block off the carpet with the magnetic strip.
If the sensors are dirty, the robot vacuum may interpret dark and dense carpets as a
drop-off. Glass floors are generally interpreted as a drop-off.
•
Clean the floor sensors regularly.
