Coolant flow and connections 

for engines adapted for exter-

nal cooling

Engines adapted for external cooling differ from sea-
water cooled engines. The seawater pump and the 
heat exchanger(s) have been removed. The engines 
have been fitted with connections for the external 
cooling system.

The figures below show the connections on the en-
gines and the inner diameter of the hoses.
