Retrieving Faults

Faults set in the system during a trip can be viewed in
the FAULTS MENU of the EVC Basic Window (the
LCD display of the tachometer). The EVC Basic Win-
dow is operated with buttons on the EVC Control
Panel.
To access the EVC Basic Window from the EVC Sys-
tem Display, press button

to enter page MULTI.

Push repeatedly until the EVC Basic Window is dis-
played. For additional information, please see

All faults during a trip are erased when the starter
key is turned to the stop position.

For twin engine installations, select which display
(engine) to check for faults. Use the DISPLAY
SELECTION BUTTON

While in the main menu, turn the SELECTION
WHEEL

until the faults display.

Push the SELECTION WHEEL to view the logged
fault(s). The fault will cycle between “source of
fault/cause of fault” and “recommended actions
to take.”

Turn the SELECTION WHEEL to view additional
faults, if there are more than one detected by the
system.

Push the BACK BUTTON

to return to the main
