To clear a flooded engine:

Turn the key to ON

(RUN).

On the EVC control panel, press and hold the
NEUTRAL BUTTON

while moving the control

lever

forward to the shift position

Let go of the NEUTRAL BUTTON and move the
remote control lever to FULL THROTTLE

Turn the ignition switch to START

. If the engine

does not start, then try again.

NOTICE!

After a second attempt, if the engine

still does not start, return the control lever to the
neutral position and try a normal engine start.

As soon as the engine starts:
● Return the handle to IDLE (NEUTRAL

● Return the key to ON or RUN

NOTICE!

Immediately after engine start-up, look at all

instruments. If any readings are abnormal, stop the
engine and determine the cause.
