5.3.3 Removing the transport brackets
After installing the CHP unit in its final installation
location, remove the transport brackets from the
flexible supports of the engine and generator.
Note
The transport brackets are shown in red.
Transport brackets on the generator
Parts:
●
4 pipes (2 pipes per anti-vibration mount)
●
4 hexagon bolts M12x120
●
4 hexagon nuts M12
●
8 washers 12-200HV
Transport brackets on the engine
Parts:
●
2 brackets (1 bracket per anti-vibration mount)
●
4 pipes (2 pipes per anti-vibration mount)
●
4 hexagon bolts M12x150
●
4 hexagon nuts M12
●
8 washers 12-200HV
Dismantling
●
Required tools:
Spanner, size 19
●
To remove the transport brackets, undo the bolts
and remove the brackets.
●
It is essential to ensure that no parts fall into the
machine.
Note
Store the transport brackets in a safe place!
When taking the CHP unit away after final
decommissioning, it is essential that the transport
brackets are refitted. Otherwise, if the
engine/generator unit is not transported vertically, it
may break away from the base frame and endanger
the transport personnel.
