Heating connections
Design the heating circuit connection as a sealed
unvented system with diaphragm expansion vessel.
Only use type-tested parts for the safety equipment of
the heating circuit connection!
The quality of the heating water must meet the
manufacturer's specifications; see appendix section
10.4.
(1) Connect the flow and return
directly
to the CHP
unit, stress-free and in accordance with the
connection dimensions stipulated in the technical
description for Vitobloc 200 EM-530/660
(versions SCR and SCR-ready), via flexible
connection elements (hoses and expansion
joints for structure-borne noise attenuation).
(2) Heating water hoses must be connected directly
to the CHP unit. The heating water hoses must
not be attached to the building with hose clips at
any point along their entire length.
(3) Heating water hoses must not be bent by more
than 90° over their entire length.
(4) Design heating connection lines, headers and
their fittings in a suitable material and provide
hydronic balancing in the case of systems with
multiple units.
(5) Install components and measuring points in the
on-site heating connection according to the flow
diagram for the peripheral connections of the
Vitobloc 200 EM-530/660 (versions SCR and
SCR-ready).
(6) For maintenance work, a drain & fill valve
(e.g. ½" BDF valve) and an air vent valve must
be installed on site in the heating water flow and
the heating water return respectively, both in the
immediate vicinity of the CHP unit.
(7) For fault-free operation, the CHP unit must
always be supplied with a constant and adequate
heating water flow rate in accordance with the
technical description.
