OPTIONS-involving electrical
1. With second air conditioner, 50 amp service is required. With 50
amp it means 2- 120 volt positive wires will be attached to two
banks of positive power in circuit breaker box, one to each
side.
Power cord will have 4 prongs on it, 2 positive,1 neutral, and 1
ground.
2. On 30 amp system with a fire place, there will be a switch in
camper in which you have to choose to use the fire place or air
conditioner. Switch is called a “double pull/double throw” device,
located near the fire place.
3. With 2 fireplaces, 50 amp service is required and there may be
a “ Double pole/ double throw” switch in the front cabinet to
choose the use of fireplace or air conditioner.
