can be generated;

SONET error types:

- OC-3/12/48 signals: FAS, B1, B2, REI-S, B3, RE-PI, BIP-V, REI-V,

- Depends on payload: 2M-FAS, 2M-CRC, 2M-REI, 34M-FAS, 45M-FAS, 1.5M-FAS

Error Flow

Inject a range of different anomalies into the transmit signal. Error insertion modes include;

- Single: Inserts a single error every time the insertion button is tapped

- Count: Specific count or number of errors when the insertion button is tapped

- Rate: Specific rate between 1^10

and 5^10

The list of available error types depends on the type of framing being used, and the SONET or PDH/DSn hierarchies and line

interfaces that have been selected.
