10.5 SONET Functions > Payload Labels

This function is used to set the C2 and V5 Path Signal Labels which indicate the content of the High order and Low order VCs.

Tap the Payload Label icon to display the payload label screens. There are dedicated tabs for Transmitted and Received payload

labels and setups;

C2 [/STS Path]: Path signal label

o Specifies the mapping type in the STS-1n

o Program the Tx or Rx label by editing the hexadecimal value or by using the convenient pull down menu selection

o For the Rx label, you can enable or disable the Payload Mismatch (PLM) Alarm
