10 Operating messages and faults
10.1 Info text
Info text Cause
Warm-up mode Message displayed after pressing the START button when the set
temperature has not yet been reached.
Ready for operation Message displayed when the set water level and the set tempera-
ture have been reached.
Operation Message displayed after pressing the START button when the ma-
chine is "Ready for operation".
Decalcification Message displayed when starting the decalcification program.
Emptying Message displayed when starting the emptying process.
Fill decalcifier Message displayed when decalcifier must be filled during the decal-
cification process.
Message is not displayed when the machine is equipped with a
decalcifying system (optional).
Machine not ready for opera-
tion Message displayed after pressing the START button in warm-up
mode.
Value outside the setting range Message displayed when an invalid temperature value (40-97 °C,
104-206 °F) or speed value (0-100 %) has been entered.
10.2 Malfunctions
Operating faults are not defects in the equipment but circumstances resulting in operation being
stopped, and the fault must be remedied. You do not need a service engineer for this, as you can gen-
erally remedy this type of fault yourself.
The information given below on troubleshooting covers the most usual type of malfunction. Consult the
