7.4 Installation of the steam supply line (VC999 ST2 D)
This section describes the connection of the Shrink Tunnel (type VC999 ST2 D) to a central steam gen-
eration unit.
NOTICE
Connection of the steam supply line must be carried out by an authorized expert in accordance
with local regulations.
The customer must integrate the following elements into the steam supply line to the machine:

Manometer 0-10 bar
•
Pressure reducing valve (see "Technical data" for the correct adjustment)
•
Safety valve (see "Technical data" for the correct adjustment)
•
Shut-off valve
The owner is responsible for the installation of these elements.
WARNING
Hot steam! There is a risk of scalding due to hot steam.
7.5 Installation of the steam extraction system
A fan blows the steam out of the machine via the steam extraction pipe (Fig. 3/1, Pos. 29). A hose or a
pipe can be connection here to forward the steam. Refer to the section "Technical data" for the connec-
tion dimensions.
NOTICE
During installation, make sure that excessive condensate water cannot flow back into the ma-
chine. Provide the conduit with a siphon to drain off any collected condensate water.
