The mains module also has three MCBs (Miniature Circuit Breakers), which
are basically resettable mains fuses, to protect against over current.
Mains Unit MCBs
Allocation of the MCBs is as follows
MCB 1 - Air conditioner*#
Trumatic Heating*
MCB 2 -Mains Sockets cutlets
MCB 3 -Refrigerator
Battery Charger
Mains Lights
Truma Water Heater*
*if fitted.
In the event of a fault or overload, the MCB will 'trip' i.e. , automatically
moves to the 'OFF' position.
After elimination of the fault the MCB can be re-set by switching to the 'ON'
(up) position, against the spring pressure, in an upwards direction.
Earth Leakage Fault:
If an earth fault develops or a person were to touch a live piece of
equipment the leakage of current to earth should immediately operate the
RCD and 'trip' the main switch to the off position.
The switch is only re-settable after elimination of the fault.
To re-set, switch the RCD switch to the 'ON' (up) position.
