The shower cubical fitted in your Caravan is of the sealed unit type and
needs very little maintenance. The door track should be kept clear with an
occasional wipe, to enable the door to slide easily.
A 12V switched light is fitted onto the roof interior.
The interior of the shower should be cleaned immediately after use. Apply a
warm, mild soapy water solution with a soft cloth and rinse with clean water
immediately.
Important: To avoid premature failure materials containing body oils linseed
oils or concentrated perfumes should not be used.
Gritty or abrasive substances or solvents, such as white spirits or paint
thinners may result in permanent damage to the wall/roof finish.
Thetford Bathroom Cleaner is highly recommended to keep your bathroom
sink/shower cubicle in pristine condition. Thetford Bathroom Cleaner is
available from most good caravan Dealers.
Cleaning of all taps:
It is recommended that a non-abrasive damp cloth be used for cleaning the
taps and showers.
Water Containers:
a)
all water remaining in any water container should be disposed of so
that the container is empty.
b)
The outside water container should be cleansed and washed down
to remove any dirt, dust or other contaminant. Water at a suitably
hot temperature containing an appropriate detergent is
recommended for this purpose.
Water should then be put into the container, swirled round, then
emptied out.
Note:
the use of any of the
above cleaners may invalidate
the warranty.
