Changing Cylinders:
DuoControl enables replacement of an empty cylinder without interrupting
the operation of devices currently consuming the gas. Non-return valves
integrated into the inlet connecting piece prevents gas from escaping when
only one gas cylinder is attached for a short time.
Turn the control knob (a) by 180 degrees or half a turn until it stops and the
former reserve cylinder becomes the operating cylinder. After the cylinder
change the full gas cylinder is available again as the reserve cylinder.
The status display (b) changes to green.
Close the empty cylinder valve and screw of the high pressure hose.
Propane cylinders need a special spanner to remove and refit the pipe to the
cylinder. They are readily available from your local gas supplier or caravan
accessory shop.
Unfasten the retaining strap and remove the empty cylinder.
Install a new cylinder into the cylinder housing. Adjust the cylinder outlet
position so as not to kink or bend the high pressure hose.
Screw the high pressure hose onto the full gas cylinder.
Fasten retaining strap.
Note: When refitting the high pressure hose to the cylinder first screw nut
(left hand thread) with your fingers, this will avoid the possibility of cross
threading. When in, securely tighten to form a gas seal, do not over tighten.
Note: Do not over tighten the connector or the rubber sealing ring may be
deformed.
