4.13.2.
DiSEqC FUNCTIONS
Pressing the
DiSEqC
button allows the user to alternatively transmit the commands
selected in the menu described below. The DiSEqC command can only be transmitted if the
LNB is powered on (but even with a voltage of 0 V).
4.13.3.
DISEQC MENU
Hold down the
DiSEqC
button to display the menu for selecting the DiSEqC commands’
method of use:
•
2 WAY DiSEqC: select this option to configure the use of the 2 preset commands for
the universal switches (TONE BURST and DATA BURST). Press the
ENTER
button in
succession to transmit the two commands.
•
4 WAY DiSEqC: select this option to configure the use of the 4 preset commands:
(SAT A LNB1 – SAT B LNB2 – SAT C LNB3 – SAT D LNB4). Press the
ENTER
button
in succession to transmit the four commands.
•
DiSEqC Lev. (1.1): this command allows for the selection of:
level 1.1 (transmission only)
level 2.0 (transmission and reception)

DiSEqC LIST: this option allows for the complete table of DiSEqC commands to be
displayed.
In order to select and transmit a DiSEqC command from the list, turn the
DIAL
until
the desired command is highlighted and then press the
ENTER
button. Once the
command has been transmitted, it will be stored in the first field on the list.
•
DiSEqC USER: select this item to enable the configuration of the following four
commands: USER1, USER2, USER3 and USER4, whose codes are defined by the user.
In order to configure these commands, select the desired item and press the
ENTER
button. Next, use the keyboard to insert the characters for the code to be set. For
alphabetical characters, use the appropriate keyboard function.
These commands can be utilized by selecting them from the DiSEqC LIST menu.
NOTE:
The last commands utilized can be transmitted by pressing the
DiSEqC
button,
without necessarily having to access the menu functions.
•
MOTOR (1.2): select this item to display a bar with the following 5 commands on the
screen:
1.
MOVE: this command enables the following functions:
Start East: enables rotation towards the east.
Start West: enables rotation towards the west.
Press
ENTER
to submit the selected command
Start East for T (xx): starts the rotation towards the east for an established time (T)
in seconds. Starts the rotation towards the east for an established number of steps
(S).
Start West for T (xx): starts the rotation towards the west for an established time (T)
in seconds.
Start West for S (xx): starts the rotation towards the west for an established number
of steps (S).
Press
ENTER
to highlight the box (xx) and turn the
DIAL
to set the desired value.
Press
ENTER
again to submit the command.
Exit: exits the menu.
