4. Functions
This chapter describes the functions of each unit.
4-1. RF power supply
The RF power supply can be run locally by the control panel and it can be run remotely by an external
analog signal.

RF power supply part names and functions
Part names
Description
1. POWER switch
The switch to supply 200 VAC to the RF power supply.
Voltage is supplied to the RF power supply when the switch is in the top
position.
After shutting off the breaker, wait 30 seconds or more before supplying the
power again.
2. AC INPUT connector
Connect the power input cable.
3. RF OUT connector
The connector to output RF power.
4. MB-SIG connector
Connect the matching box with the MB
–
SIG cable.
5. OSC connector
Connect when using external OSC.
6. INTERFACE connector
Wire for external control. When not performing external control,
short pins 1-14.
7. Cooling water IN
The connector for cooling water input. * Not present on 500 W models.
8. Cooling water OUT
The connector for cooling water output. * Not present on 500 W models.
9. GND terminal
Connect to ground.
10. CONTROL connector
Connect the power supply's control panel.
(Unnecessary on 13 MHz 10 kW or higher and 27 MHz systems)
11. RS232C connector
Not used.
