7. Check the burner shield for cracks, severe warpage and corrosion.
8. Clean the burner (especially the burner holes). Check for insects and insect nests in the burner
tubes.
9. Inspect the following:
a) Check for burner holes that are cracked, severely warped, or corroded.
b) Make sure the burner assembly is not warped or damaged.
c) Check the area around the pilot to make sure there is no warping or damage
. If any problem is
found, discontinue use and contact your dealer for service.
10. Wipe down the rope light.
11. Clean Filter. See
Filter Cleaning
below.
12. Fill with clean water after re-assembling unit.
13. Check the water level. Water should fill to ¾ or the lower section of the tank. Adjust the water float
valve as needed. See page 24,
Adjusting Water Float Valve.
14. Check for proper functioning of water level sensor and the overflow fittings and hose.
Filter Cleaning
1. Gently press in the sides of the filter cage on the pump and slide it away from the pump.
2. Separate the second filter cage by lifting up on the tabs on the top and bottom.
3. Remove the filters. Flush the filters with a garden hose. Flush them from the hole outward.
4. Flush and clean any dirt and debris on the filter cages and pump.
5. Flush and clean any dirt and debris in the tank.
6. Replace the filters and all items in reverse order of disassembly.
7. Refill with clean water.
