HW Setup and Passwords

This chapter explains how to use TOSHIBA HW Setup program to
configure your computer and how to set up passwords.

HW Setup

TOSHIBA HW Setup lets you configure settings for display, CPU, boot
priority, keyboard, USB, LAN, button setting, general, password and
device config.

Accessing HW Setup

Click

start

select

TOSHIBA HW Setup

to run HW Setup.

HW Setup window

The HW Setup window contains the following tabs: General, Password,
Device Config, Display, CPU, Boot Priority, Keyboard, USB, LAN and
Button setting.

There are also three buttons: OK, Cancel and Apply.

OK

Accepts your changes and closes the HW Setup
window.

Cancel

Closes the window without accepting your
changes.

Apply

Accepts all your changes without closing the
HW Setup window.
