Internal Modem Guide

This appendix describes how to install and the remove the internal
modem.

1. Do not remove the base cover except to remove or install the internal

modem or to check the PTT label.

2. Do not disassemble the computer beyond the steps described in this

instruction or touch any components not specifically described.

3. Always remove the Battery Pack and disconnect the AC Adaptor

before removing the base cover.

4. Be careful not to drop any screws or other foreign matter into the

computer. Metal or other foreign matter can damage the computer.
