Lubrication
Greasing the Bearings and
Bushings
Service Interval: Every 50 hours (and immediately
after every washing).
Grease Specification: No. 2 lithium grease
1. Prepare the machine for maintenance; refer to
Preparing for Maintenance (page 43) . Open the
hood; refer to Opening the Hood (page 43)
2. Separate the generator cooling-air shrouds;
refer to
Separating the Generator Cooling-Air
Shrouds (page 45) .
3. Lubricate all grease fittings for the bearings and
bushings with the specified grease. The grease
fitting locations and quantities are as follows:

Pump driveshaft U-joint (3) ( Figure 70 )
Note:
Access the pump driveshaft from the
bottom of the machine.
