Incoming call
•
on DISA (Direct Inward Service Access)
A call from mobile network is received.
Voxell LCR answers and opens a local line. The PBX exchange generates a dial tone. On this
tone, the caller dials the phone number: a local subscriber or an external number (see the chapter
5.6.).
The PBX exchange routes this call in the same way as it treats any call coming from a local
subscriber.
on Target (automatically routing to a specified extension)
A call over mobile network is received
Voxell LCR answers and opens a local line. The PBX exchange generates a dial tone. On this
tone, Voxell LCR assigns it a specified local extension (programmable Target). The engaged
extension rings and the calling, over mobile network is established. The local extension can be,
for instance, the support department, or the operator panel who directs manually the incoming
calls.
Outgoing call
The user dials the number of local interface, where Voxell LCR is connected. Voxell LCR
answers and generates dial tone. After receiving this tone, the caller dials the number of mobile
network subscriber he wants to reach. Voxell LCR transmits the numbering and makes the link
with mobile network.
You have the option „ON or OFF” for audio tone for dialing. In this last case the Voxell LCR
equipment do not offers audio tone, but still takes over and sends the detected digits.
A voice link can be initiated in the moment when Voxell LCR generates dial tone (by default
continuously tone, frequency 420 Hz). But the Topex equipment allows you to u customize the dial
and busy tones, as well as the ringing sound.
The telephone sets, the PBX extension or exchange trunk can send to Voxell LCR the call in
DTMF mode or PULSE mode. If the number of digits is smaller than number of digits that are
waited for by Voxell LCR (programmable parameter), then, after a delay (also programmable,
typically about 10 seconds), the call is transferred to GSM/GPRS/UMTS modem.
If you want to send immediately the call, after the last digit you should press "#".
