In case your car fails to
start up
(a)Simple examination
Prior to any examination, please
check if your start procedure is
consistent with the procedure in
Chapter III “How to start engine”
and if the fuel is sufficient.
Engine fails to rotate or rotate
slowly
1.To check if accumulator wire post
is firmly connected and if it is clean.
2.To turn on indoor lamps in the
event of sound accumulator wire
post.
3.Indoor lamp is off during engine
running, implying that accumulator
lacks electricity. In this case, you
can adopt the method of “lapping
start” to start the engine. Please
refer to “(c) Lapping start” for
detailed information.
In the event that indoor lamp is
normal but the engine still fails to
start, you should regulate or repair
the automobile or call
Designated
workshop
for support.
Notice
Do not adopt pushing or pulling
way to start automobile, which
may
result
in
automobile
damage, accident, or fire disaster
due to three-way catalytic
converter’s overheating.
In the event that engine can be
started at normal rotary speed but it
is unable to run normally.
1.To check if all parts are firmly
installed (such as spark plug and
sparking coil, etc.)
2.In the event that all parts are
normal, the abnormal running of
engine should be attributed to
excessive oil in spark plug due to
repetitive start. Please refer to
“Engine start in the event of
immersed spark plug”
(b)Engine start in the event of
immersed spark plug
Engine start failure should be
attributed to excessive oil in spark
plug due to frequent start.
