Parking brake system
To park the car, tightly engage the
parking brake lever to prevent the
accidental movement of the car.
Engage the parking brake: Pull
upward the parking brake lever. To
achieve better braking effects,
firstly depress the brake pedal and
hold and then engage the parking
brake.
Release the parking brake: Slightly
pull upward the parking brake lever,
press with thumb the button at the
end of the lever, and then lower the
parking brake lever to the end. To
remind you that the parking brake is
engaged, the brake system warning
lamp on the instrument panel is
always on, until the parking brake is
released.
Warning
Before start up, make sure that
the parking brake is fully
released and the brake system
warning lamp is off.
