If the imPULSE S.U.M. needs to be moved, the load cells must be
locked again before transport. To lock load cells, use the following
steps.
1. Reinsert the screw jack and use an adjustable wrench to raise it by
turning clockwise.
2. Replace the solid steel plate (included in the load cell unlocking kit,
Mettler Toledo part #30219938) to its former location (Figure 2.7).
To lower the jack, use an adjustable wrench to turn the bolt
counter-clockwise (Figure 2.8). Remove the jack at this point.

3. Replace the stainless steel spacers (included in the load cell
unlocking kit, Mettler Toledo part #30219938) (Figure 2.9). Use an
adjustable wrench to tighten the bolt (Figure 2.10). Once it begins to
feel tight, tighten another 1/4 turn to ensure it is fully tightened. Both
centering spacers should be below the bolt when tightened.
