Installation of the device

Space requirements
Fig. 1:
When installing the device, make sure that the installa-
tion and supply connections are freely accessible.
The control box at the rear panel of the device may serve as
a spacer to adjacent objects. The side distances given are mi-
nimal distances.
To protect the CO
2
incubator against contamination, use a floor
stand even if the device is installed near the floor. The height
of the floor stand should not be less than 200 mm.
Several floor stands and carriers are available as options from
Thermo (part numbers see Section 11.1, “Spare parts and
accessories”).
NOTE – Accessibility of the devices
To ensure the accessibility for care and mainte-
nance works, keep larger side and rear
distances.

Transport
Fig. 2:
For transport do not lift the device using the doors or
components attached to the device (e.g. control box on rear
panel) as lift points.
NOTE – Lift points
Lift the device only using the lift points shown
in Fig. 2.
