Domestic hot water and central heating circuits must
be completed with expansion vessels of adequate ca-
pacity and suitable, correctly-sized safety valves. The
discharge of safety valves and appliances must be con-
nected to a suitable collection and disposal system (see
Catalogue for compatible accessories).
b
The selection and the installation of the components of
the system is the responsibility of the installer, who must
operate in accordance with good practice and current
Legislation.
b
If needed, water supplies and recovery circuits must be
conditioned by suitable treatment systems. Refer to the
values listed in the table on page 20.
Fuel connections
The thermal unit
ACQUAHOME R BLU
is preset to receive the
light oil supply pipes through the slot (3) of the rear panel.
The light oil supply delivery pipe must be connected directly
on the filter (1) (accessory), the return pipe to the preset union
(2).
Make sure that these connections are oil tight.

If the oil feed system is in negative pressure, the return line
must reach the same height as the suction line. This avoids
having to install a bottom valve, which would be essential if
the return hose were to be located above the level of the fuel.
b
The installer must ensure that the negative pressure dif-
ferential in the oil feed never exceeds 0.4 bar (30 cm
Hg). If this value is exceeded, the fuel oil will release gas.
Make sure that the oil hoses are perfectly oil-tight.
b
Clean out the oil tank at suitable intervals.
b
The fuel supply system must be suitable for the burner
capacity and must be equipped with all the safety and
control devices required by the Standards in force. For
its size, refer to the table on page "18" of paragraph "
Priming the pump".
b
A filter must be installed in the oil feed line.
b
Before starting the thermal unit, make sure that the return
pipe line is not clogged. An excessive back pressure
would cause the breakage of the circulator seal.
b
On completion of the installation, check that all joints are
sealed.
