STITCH:
This mode of welding is used to weld two o r mo r e
components togethe r with a stitch weld. The WELD
(Spot/Stitch) shaft cont r ols the welding o r ‘ON’ time
and the "DWELL (Stitch)" shaft cont r ols the inte r val
o r ‘OFF’ time fo r stitch welding.

4T (Latch):
This mode of welding is mainly used fo r long weld
r uns, as the ope r ato r need only p r ess the t r igge r to
activate the weld, then p r ess the t r igge r again to stop.
This r eplaces the need fo r the ope r ato r to dep r ess
and hold the t r igge r fo r the complete length of the
weld r un.

WELD (Spot/Stitch) Timer Control
WELD MODE - SPOT
When the Weld Mode cont r ol is in the Spot position,
the Weld (Spot/Stitch) knob cont r ols the du r ation of
a single spot weld.
WELD MODE - STITCH
When the Weld Mode cont r ol is in the Stitch position,
the Weld (Spot/Stitch) knob cont r ols the length of
the stitch weld on time.

Dwell Stitch
DWELL (STITCH) TIMER CONTROL
When the Weld Mode cont r ol is in the Stitch position, the
Dwell (Stitch) knob cont r ols the length of the non-weld
po r tion of stitch welding (off time when wi r e stops feeding).

Burnback Control
Bu r nback time is the diffe r ence between the wi r efeed
moto r stopping and the welding cu rr ent ceasing. The
Bu r nback time allows the elect r ode wi r e to bu r n out
of the molten metal weld pool. The Bu r nback time is
facto r y set fo r optimum pe r fo r mance. Bu r nback time
is adjusted by the knob of the potentiomete r .
Clockwise adjustment inc r eases Bu r nback time.
