3.12 Inserting Wire into the Feedhead
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK CAN KILL! Make ce r tain the input powe r is disconnected f r om the powe r supply befo r e
p r oceeding. Do not r eattach the input powe r until told to do so in these inst r uctions.
1. Loosen the Sp r ing P r essu r e Adjusting Knob if needed and swing it down (Fi r st pa r t of Figu r e. 3-10)
2. Move the P r essu r e (top) Rolle r A r m by swinging it to the r ight. (Second pa r t of Figu r e. 3-10)
3. Make su r e the end of the wi r e is f r ee of any bu rr s and is st r aight. Pass the end of wi r e th r ough the Inlet Wi r e
Guide and ove r the Feed r oll. Make ce r tain the p r ope r g r oove is being used. (Second pa r t of Figu r e. 3-10)
4. Pass the wi r e th r ough the outlet guide and into the Gun line r of the Gun Cable. (Second pa r t of Figu r e. 3-10)
5. Close the P r essu r e Rolle r A r m. (Figu r e. 3-11)
6. Swing the Sp r ing P r essu r e Adjusting Knob back into place. (Figu r e. 3-11)
7. Use the Sp r ing P r essu r e Adjusting Knob to c r eate a “snug” condition. (Clockwise to tighten and Counte r
Clockwise to loosen). (Figu r e. 3-11)
8. Figu r e 3-12 shows the r esult with wi r e installed. Continue to the next section fo r p r ope r setting of tension.
