ON / OFF Power Switch
The indicato r light is p r ovided to indicate when the Fab r icato r 210 is connected to the Input Powe r Supply Voltage.
With the switch in the Standby position, the auxilia r y powe r and the fan a r e tu r ned off and the switch is illuminated.
WARNING
When the light is lit, the machine is connected to the Mains supply voltage and the inte r nal elect r ical
components a r e at Mains voltage potential.
Thermal Overload
The c r itical component fo r the r mal p r otection a r e the r ectifie r stack and the t r ansfo r me r , which a r e fitted with
the r mal ove r load cut out devices. If the ove r load is activated then the machine should be left to cool fo r app r oximately
15 minutes befo r e r esuming welding. If the Powe r Sou r ce is ope r ated within its duty cycle, the the r mal ove r load
will not activate. Refe r to section 2.09 fo r an explanation of duty cycle and section 2.10 fo r the powe r supply
specifications.
Wirespeed Control
The Wi r espeed Cont r ol knob cont r ols the welding cu rr ent via the elect r ode wi r e feed r ate, i.e. the speed of the wi r e
feed moto r . The wi r e speed is va r iable f r om 80 to 800IPM (2-20 m/min).
Coarse Voltage Switch Selector
The Coa r se Voltage Switch Selecto r sets the voltage level to the welding te r minals as it switches f r om 1 to 4.
Fine Voltage Switch Selector
The Fine Voltage Switch Selecto r inc r eases the voltage (in smalle r inc r ements than the Coa r se switch) as it switches
f r om 1 to 4.
CAUTION
The Coa r se & Fine Voltage Switch Selecto r s MUST NOT BE SWITCHED du r ing the welding p r ocess.
