allows the user to configure CPU settings.

This submenu displays the following information regarding the CPUs installed in
Socket 1/Socket 2.

• Type of CPU

• CPU Signature

• Microcode Patch

• CPU Stepping

• Maximum CPU Speed

• Minimum CPU Speed

• Processor Cores

• Intel HT (Hyper-Threading) Technology

• Intel VT-x Technology

• Intel SMX Technology

• L1 Data Cache

• L1 Code Cache

• L2 Cache

• L3 Cache

CPU Speed

This item displays the speed of the CPU installed in Socket 1/Socket 2.

B.3.3.3

64-bit

This item indicates if the CPU installed in Socket 1 or Socket 2 support 64-bit tech-
nology.

B.3.3.4

Clock Spread Spectrum

Select Enable to enable Clock Spectrum support, which will allow the BIOS to mon-
itor and attempt to reduce the level of Electromagnetic Interference caused by the
components whenever needed. The options are

Disabled

(default) and Enabled.
