CPU C7 Report

Available when Power Technology is set to custom.

Select Enabled to allow the BIOS to report the CPU C7 State (ACPI C3) to the
operating system. CPU C7 State is a processor-specific low C-State. The options
are Enabled and

Disabled

(default).

Available when Power Technology is set to custom.

This feature allows the user to set the limit on the C-State package register. The

Energy/Performance Bias

This setting allows the user to adjust the fan speed based on performance (maximum
cooling) or energy efficiency (quietest fan speed). The options are Performance, Bal-

This item displays the power limit set by the manufacturer during which long dura-
