Water Recirculation System Filter Cartridge
The Deionizer filter must be installed before using the humidity system. This does NOT filter
incoming water from a plumbed supply. This will only filter water from the condensate
pump before it returns to the reservoir.
The Deionizer filter cartridge must be replaced when
it is used up. The color of the top half of the cartridge changes gradually from white to brown
through continued use. Replacement cartridges are available from TestEquity (our part number
383911).
To replace the cartridge, use a screwdriver to loosen the clamps from the
bottom and top of the filter and remove the tubing from the barbed fitting
on the filter. Be prepared to catch a small amount of water from the tubes
and bottom of the filter with a rag or paper towel. Lift the filter up to
disengaged it from the bottom flange and then pull the bottom of the
filter towards you. Then, pull the filter out of the top flange. Perform the
installation in the reverse order.
