DUT Handler Operation
The DUT Handler automatically moves outward when the lid opens, and it returns to inside position
before the lid is closed. Press the “DUT Handler operation switch”, while the lid is opening, to
manually move the Handler inward or outward. The DUT Handler operation switch is on the right
side of the TC-5942B. The switch enables the Handler to move inward and outward.

Other Options (Option 60,70)
Option 60: Acoustic test fixture.
Availability depends on the shape of the mobile unit.
Option 70: Dual pressure mode lid control for the safety in work operation.
Moves the lid downward with 1.5 bar air pressure until the distance between the lid and flat is 5 mm
then close the lid with 5 bar. Opening pressure always maintains 5 bar. A pressure sensor and lid
poison sensor senses each sep of operation. If either sensor detects an error that the lid is not
closed properly, the lid will move back to open position at once.
CAUTION:
If the compressed air is disconnected while the lid is opening, the lid will
remain in opened position for several seconds and then will move downward. The Handler
must be pushed inward manually to avoid damaging the Handler or DUT.
If either one of sensor switches detects an error that the Handler (option 10) or probe
(option 30) is not closed completely, the Handler or probe will move back to open position.
The preset time delay from the lid opening until the Handler moves outward is 2 seconds.
The preset time for the probe is 1 second.
WARNING:
To avoid electric shock or product damage, do not operate this product with
the Plexiglas safety shield removed.
The DUT Handler operation switch is on the
right corner of the TC-5942B. Activating this
switch makes the handler move inward and
outward.
