9.  BEFORE CALLING UPON THE SERVICE

Before calling upon the service you are asked to get acquainted with the following symptoms of the disruptions in the 
boiler functioning which are independent from the manufacturer: 

9.1.  

THE BOILER DOES NOT REACH THE NOMINAL TEMPERATURE NOMINAL THERMAL POWER

- insufficient chimney draught  - possible lack of tightness of the chimney, smoke conduit, boiler door or cleaning holes 

should be checked and removed , the chimney should be cleaned.

- bad fuel quality in the automatic system: it is absolutely necessary to use the fuel in accordance with the manufacturer’s 

suggestions.

-  pollution of the convection canals. – the soot should be cleaned from the canals through the upper cleaning hole and 

taken out through the lower cleaning hole.

- Insufficient flow of air to the air room – the flow of air should be made possible through the window or  ventilating 

canal.

9.2. 

THERE IS A WATER LEAKAGE FROM THE BOILER 

- During the initial lighting of the boiler there might be ‘sweating’ of the boiler. After the higher burning temperature is 

reached this occurrence abates. In the case of noticing the boiler „leakage”, if the water is accumulating in the lower 
part, the tightness of the connector pipes with the system should be checked. If it is accurate the manufacturer 
should be contacted in writting.

9.3. 

THE WORM FEEDER DOES NOT PASS THE FUEL TO THE BURNER.

- the feeder is blocked – dismount the worm, remove the unwanted object and the coal from the feeder.  After re- 

mounting start the operation of the boiler, 

paying attention to the cleanliness of the fuel.

-If the safety inlet of the feeder is broken – replace the safety device for a new one and follow the guidelines as if the 

feeder was blocked.

9.4. 

EXHAUST EMISSION FROM THE BOILER 

Check the cleanliness of the convection canals and the chimney stack, check the chimney draught. The smoke from the 
tank means that there is too little fuel in the tank or the fan has too much power.

9.5. 

TOO MUCH ASH 

This is a result of the poor fuel quality not the functioning of the boiler.

9.6. 

THE FUEL DOES NOT BURN BUT „SLAGS”.

This is a result of the poor fuel quality not the functioning of the boiler.
