5.8. ELECTRONIC
CONTROLLER
The electronic controller controls the whole functioning of the boiler. It controls the boiler temperature, circulating
pump, warm usable water pump, fan, fuel feeder. The controller has a Liquid Crystal Display LCD. Functioning of the
controller may be manual or automatic. Servicing of the controller should be done precisely according to the manual
supplied for the boiler and the controller. Before connecting it to the electrical installation it is necessary to make sure
that there is not any damage to the conduits. In case there are damages to the conduits one must not connect the wiring
to the controller as this may cause an electric shock. The steering also protects the boiler from overheating and switches
off the whole system if there is no fuel or the feeder pipe is overheated.
6. MAINTENANCE AND USAGE GUIDELINES
6.1.
FILLING UP WITH WATER
Filling the boiler and the system with water should be done through the drain valve of the boiler (it should be installed
on the return blowdown connection with the use of a three way pipe). All the tasks must be performed in such a way
that air does not get in the system. The boiler is completely filled up when there is a flow of water from the drain pipe.
A check of a duration of a few seconds should be done to make sure that water flows from the collector.
It is impermissible and forbidden to fill the system up with water during functioning, especially
when the boiler is heated to high temperatures, as this may cause damaging or cracking.
After the heating period is over, the system and the boiler should not be drained.
If this is unavoidable the water
boiler may be drained after the water had been cooled down and sent through the drain valve.
In case the boiler is to be connected to an old system, it is necessary to rinse the system in order to remove all the
pollutants.
Usage of a three or four way mixing valve is advisable.
6.2.
SERVICING OF THE FUEL FEEDING SYSTEM
6.2.1. THE USAGE AND PROPERTIES OF THE FUEL FEEDER
The solid fuel feeders TERMO-TECH are adapted to work with specific fuel sorts. It is necessary to follow strictly the
guidelines connected with the parameters of the fuel used. If this is not fulfilled there will be warranty loss for the
supplied fittings. The guidelines applied to the fuel are in the boiler manual EKO - TECH 4.1. Poor fuel quality may result in
breaking the screw which is a safety device on the motoreducer and protects it from damage resulted from overloading.
Such failure needs to be removed on one’s own as it is not subjected to warranty, because the reason of the breaking of
the screw is inappropriate fuel quality. Replacement of the screw
does not result In warranty loss
for the product. This
activity should be done with proper care, following the safety measure.
