Teledyne API T640 PM Mass Monitor
73
If you have decoupled the T640 from the sample line via the slip coupler and are
making the flow measurements indoors, make sure to use the provided “short
temperature probe” in place of the standard ambient temperature probe during the
flow audit. This is so that the T640 is referencing its flow to the indoor temperature
the same as the flow standard. When finished with the flow check, make sure to
plug the ambient temperature probe back into the instrument.
CLEANING THE OPTICAL CHAMBER AND THE RH/T SENSOR
1. Items needed: Phillips Head screw driver, 2.5mm Allen Wrench, Canned
Air, cotton swabs, and dry, lint-free, non-abrasive wipes.
2. Remove the ASC support, which straddles the sensors.
•
Make note of all connections, electrical and plumbing, that go
between the components on the ASC support and the rest of the
instrument.
•
Unplug the flow sensor(s) from the front control board
•
Unplug the plumbing from parts that mate to components on the
support (i.e. RH sensor to the DFU, Pulsation dampener to the pump,
etc.).
•
There are four Phillips-head screws that secure the support to the
floor of the instrument, two on each footing.
