Additionally, the T640 has an optional “Leak Check, Flow Audit Adaptor Kit”.
This kit includes fittings for adapting your flow audit device to the sample tube
for either the T640 or 640x option, and also contains a filter for running a “leak
check”. A picture of the kit contents are shown below:

AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR CHECK
The reading for the ambient temperature sensor can be found in the Dashboard (if
not, configure per Section 3.2.9).
Set the temperature reference standard next to the ambient temperature sensor and
wait until the temperature readings for both stabilize. While the temperature sensor
cannot be calibrated, it should be checked to make sure it is /-2°C of a
reference standard.
The temperature reading is used for volumetric flow, and once the flow has been
calibrated, it is the change in temperature that really matters (rather than the
temperature itself). So if the sensor does not read exactly the same as a reference
standard, that is not as important as whether their
∆
T match (i.e. change in
temperature over the same period of time).
