Every strip holds its own insert list that reduces the amount of insert
processes available for the given channel. The insert lists are defined
in the user set-ups, and is stored as part of the user set-up.
The insert list is shown on the screen while the control is rotated.
If an insert process is occupied by another channel, the colour is
changed to passive in the screen list, and the insert process is
skipped in the panel display when turning the rotary control.
4.5.3 Insert section in assign window
An insert icon is available in the assign window to indicate which
process that is connected and also where in the block diagram the
insert point is located.
4.5.4 Insert menu
A menu is available to make selection
without dedicated panels.
4.6 Dynamics panel
4.6.1 General
All channels can have a compressor/expander switched into the
circuit. Various algorithms with different controls requires different
panels.
The dynamics panel described is the assignable dynamics panel.
Dedicated dynamics strips may have other controls.

If the main assign panel dynamics switch is inactive the dynamics
section is bypassed.
The attack and release adjusts the timing characteristics for the
dynamics section.
