7. Maintenance and Cleaning
7.1 Manifold
Removal
Caution
After the instrument has been used, the manifold may be infectious.
Before the manifold is removed it must be thoroughly disinfected and observe
proper laboratory safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing and
using approved laboratory safety procedures.
The manifold should be removed and thoroughly cleaned at least every 6 months
or if one or more of the needles are blocked.
Lift the manifold arm and remove the two screws that hold the manifold onto the
holder.

When the two screws have been removed, carefully pull the manifold away from
the holder.
