1.   Set the Cabinet Base upright on a level surface, then

place the Grill Housing onto the Cabinet Base and
align the mounting holes of both.

2.   Using the hardware supplied (four (4) each 1/4-20 x

5/8” L Hex Head Screws, Flat Washers, Lock
Washers, and Nuts), place the Hex Head Screws in
the mounting holes with the threaded portions
facing downward.

3.   Place a Flat Washer, followed by a Lock Washer,

then a Nut onto each Screw.  Before completely
tightening any of the Nuts, thread ALL of them on
and ensure the sides of the grill and base are still
aligned.

Helpful Hint:

In order to prevent the screws from turning as the

nuts are threaded onto the screws, place the open-end of one wrench

around the Hex Head of the screw, allowing the wrench to rest flat on

the ledge formed where the grill bottom and cabinet meet. Position this

wrench so that the end of the wrench opposite the Hex Head will press

against the wall of the grill, thereby holding the screw stationary as the

nut tightens.

The back right mounting hole area is particularly difficult to reach with

two hands. Securing the Screw first using lateral pressure with the

wrench as described above, should  be effective in holding the Screw

down in the hole as upward pressure is applied to thread the hardware

on with one hand.

The base can be locked in place using the Base Brake mechanism,

WHICH SHOULD BE ENGAGED AT ALL TIMES. (See BASE BRAKE

section on page 11 for more information.)

General Overview

You will need to unpack the unit and place the Radiant
Glass Emitters , the cooking grids and the warming rack
in their proper locations. Assembly procedures for each
of these items follow.

Radiant Glass Emitters

1.  Remove the Radiant Glass Emitters from the

packaging material.

2.  Place a Radiant Glass Emitter with the smooth side

up on the brackets directly above each burner
assembly.

Cooking Grids and Warming Rack

1.  Remove the Cooking Grids and Warming Rack

from the packaging materials.

2.  Set the Cooking Grids in place with the closed side

of the channels facing up. Set the Warming Rack in
place on top of the ledge of the fixed portion of the
Hood.

Burner Output Knobs

1.  Remove the Burner Output Knobs from the

packaging materials.

2.    Using a 5/64” Allen wrench, loosen the set screw in

the bottom of each knob.

3.    With the “OFF” indicators facing up, slide the

Knobs fully onto the valve stems ensuring each
knob is centered in the surrounding BEZEL.
Remove knob and adjust BEZELS as necessary,
then repeat.

4.   Turn each Knob counterclockwise to LOW and,

while holding each Knob firmly onto the valve
stem, tighten the set screws using the 5/64” Allen
wrench. THEN TURN THE KNOBS TO “OFF”.
