12.1.2 User IP Address
You can assign the fixed IP address to the DS unit to connect to the network.
DHCP Client Function
Make sure to set the DHCP client function to [DISABLED] to use the fixed IP address.
1.
Display the <CHANGE PARAM> menu.
2.
Move the cursor to [IP ADDRESS] by pressing the down keys.
3.
Press the ENTER key to go to the entry menu of the IP address. Press the left and right keys
to move the entry positions and press the up and down keys to change the number of the address
in each position.
4.
Press the ENTER key to enter the setting. The <CHANGE PARAM> menu is displayed.
If you do not want to enter the setting, press the STOP key. The selection is not effective. Then
return to the <CHANGE PARAM> menu.
5.
Set [SUBNET MASK] and [GATEWAY] as well as [IP ADDRESS].
By pressing the down keys at <CHANGE PARAM> display, the cursor moves to DHCP, IP
ADDRESS, SUBNET MASK, GATEWAY, HOST NAME, and NETWORK DRIVE in turn.
