POWER TAKE OFF AND 2-SPEED GEARBOX 

 

Power take off 

 
Trailered mixers are equipped with a power take-off (PTO) equipped with the adequate 
protections. A PTO shaft transmission is supplied. If requested, a single knot CV joint can 
be supplied. 
 
Both types of cardan can be supplied with a fuse bolt. In this case it

’

s recommended the 

fuse  bolt  to  be  mounted  on  the  tractor  side,  in  order  to  avoid  any  damage  to  the 
transmission. 
 

 

 
 

 

The presence of people near the cardan transmission while it is in 
operation  is  strictly  prohibited,  since  there  is  a  danger  of 
entrapment or serious accident in the event of its breakage. 
 

 

 

 

 
Do  not  work  without  the  protections  of  the  PTO  since  there  is  a 
danger of entrapment 
 

 
 

2-speed Gearbox (Optional) 

 
The 2-speed gearbox has neutral and two speeds, slow and fast. The change of speed is 
carried out by hand, or it may be done by means of a command (Cp) 
 
The three positions of the gearbox allow: 
 
- Slow speed: Grind and mix the ingredients; 
- Fast speed: Mixing and delivering; 
- Neutral: Disengages the transmission from the auger.
