5. WARRANTY CONDITIONS .
TATOMA offers a 12 month warranty against fabrication defects for all his products.
The validity of the warranty will be susceptible to the following conditions:
a) Repair costs due to damage caused to the machine during transportation shall
be covered by the carrier. Claims must be made by the part who contracted the
freight service.
b) The period of warranty coverage begins since the date of reception of the mixer
by the final customer.
c) The warranty will cover only the free replacement of components that have been
detected defective.
d) Components that have failed due to circumstances different from the previous
point will be excluded from the free replacement warranty.
e) In the case of replacement of defective components, labor and travel expenses
will be covered by Tatoma. Costs must have been aproved previously by
Tatoma.
f) Defective components previously mentioned have to be returned to TATOMA
within a period of 15 days, after having been replaced. Otherwise the warranty
will not be processed and the costs of the replaced parts shall be met by the
mixer’s owner.
g)
The warranty does’nt cover the parts that, due to their location in the machine,
are exposed to wear.
h) Complaints should be sent by written to the authorised dealer or directly to
TATOMA depending on procedure.
i) TATOMA reserves the right to verify if claims are covered by a warranty or not.
j) Failures and / or damage caused to the mixer in the following cases will
significate the immediate cancellation of the warranty:
k) Improper maintenance, or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel
l) Improper use of the mixer, or for functions different from those specified in this
manual.
m) Use of the mixer by personnel that has not been trained to handle it.
n) Repairs carried out by non-authorised personnel.
o) Manipulation or removal of parts from the mixer by unauthorized personnel.
p) Use of non-original spare parts or parts not specified by TATOMA.
