We describe here the main components depending on the different models.
Loading System
:
The mixer can be supplied with a loading system (Silo cutter). It consists on the
following components:
Lever arm with silo cutter
Lever arm
(16): Made of a folding structural tube frame mounted on the front of the mixer. Its
function is to support and provide the cutters’ vertical movement. It is operated with hydraulic
cylinders.
Silo cutters
(18): Silage cutting component is up to 6.2 feet wide (1.9 meters), depending on
the model, and is operated by an hydraulic motor, that allows the cutting of any type of silage or
forage.
Mixer System
:
Built with high resistant materials, ready to work for hours. The design has been done
counting on these parts subject to wear, be easily replaceable.
It is made up with the following components:
Tub
(5): Triangular section, where ingredients are mixed. Tub capacity depends on the model.
Auger
(15):
The auger is made up of central paddles and two solid screws. It’s operated by the
tractor’s PTO shaft and a planetary.
In order to shred the ingredients, the auger is equipped with treated and tempered blades; as they
are submitted to wear, these elements are replaceable.
Beaters
(6):
Their function is to push the product from the centre of the auger to the front and to
the rear. They are operated by an hydraulic motor and a reductor. The system is protected by a
plastic cover.
Unloading Door
(3):
This door is located standard on the left side of the mixer. It can be requested to
be mounted on the right side. As an option, a second unloading door can be incorporated on the right
side.
Unloading door:
Is hydraulically operated. The opening of the door allows the dosage of the
mixed product delivered in the feeders.
Unloading conveyor:
Consists on an open box
,
with a high resistance mobile chain, that
transports the mixed product from the tub to the feeder.
This system can transport all types of products, including wet ones (barley, apple and orange
pulps, etc.) easy and quick.
The unloading conveyor can be equipped with an hydraulic cylinder that allows the conveyor to
unload in different heights.
Access Ladder
(7):
Located at the front of the mixer, its use is restricted to extraordinary
circumstances when working with the mixer. When accessing the tub, you must respect the following
recommendations
