5.8.4 Drop Settings
This section describes how to customize the drops for your par-
ticular application. Up to 20 drops can be used. Normally, this setup
needs to be done only once.
Select "

" from the main menu using the up and down-
arrow keys. Press the right-arrow key.
Accessible from the installer mode only (s. 5.8.1).
Press the down-arrow key twice to
select "
3. Drop Settings
" menu then
press the right-arrow key.
Select the desired drop then press the
right-arrow key. Use the adjustment
buttons to set the following param-
eters:
Output Auger:
Select the output augers that delivers
feed to the selected (see illustration,
section 2.2).
House:
If two houses are enabled (sec.5.8.2),
select in which house the drop is lo-
cated.
Run Time:
Select how much time is required for the output auger to deliver
feed to the selected drop. If the mixer is used, the run time starts
at the end of the mixing process; if no mixer is used, the run time
starts when the last batch is dumped in the receiving hopper.
Animal Type:
Select whether the drop serves males or females.

5.3.3 Bin Management
The bin information menu allows monitoring the amount of feed
that remains in the bins.
5.3.3.1 Adding Feed to a Bin
Post up the amount of added feed after having filled the bin.
Hint:
The following menu can quickly be accessed by pressing the
corresponding shortcut key.
Select the "
3. Bin Information
" from
the main menu using the arrow keys
(or simply press the corresponding
shortcut key).
Use the arrow keys to select the bin
that has been filled. Press the right-
arrow twice to select the
"Bin Infor-
mation"
menu.
Press the down-arrow key to select
the "
Add Feed
" menu.
Enter the amount of feed (in kg) that
has been added to the selected bin.
The posted value flashes for a 10 sec-
ond delay then becomes added to the
"
Remaining Feed
" menu. The "
Add
Feed
" menu then displays zero once
again.
