music source is passed to any port in a hold state and may also be selected as
background music over the speaker of idle key telephone sets. The second music
source may be defined in the system database as a second music source for multiple
background music sources.
The music source should have a line-level (-10dBm or 50 to 100mV), 600

output, with an adjustable output level. In some cases, an 8

speaker level output

from a portable radio or tape player may be used with satisfactory results, if the
volume is set relatively low and background noise is not objectionable.
